Is GrowLog AI free?+

Yes — GrowLog AI is free during our early-access beta, with no credit card required. Pricing for the full release will be announced before any change, with early users getting first dibs.

Do I need a Google Sheet?+

Your diary lives in a Google Sheet so you fully own your data. If you sign up with a Gmail account, no action is required — we create and connect the spreadsheet for you automatically. If you use a non-Gmail email, you’ll need a Google account to host it (free), and onboarding walks you through creating one and connecting it. After that, every conversation is logged automatically.

Will it work for my zone and climate?+

Yes. GrowLog AI uses your location and pulls live weather from Open-Meteo, so advice is tuned to your USDA zone, season, and current conditions.

Can I track more than vegetables?+

Yes — herbs, flowers, fruit, and yes, legal home cannabis cultivation are all supported. Each crop gets its own thread and diary tab.

How is this different from just asking ChatGPT?+

ChatGPT doesn't know your zone, your soil, what you planted last week, or what your garden actually looks like.
