What's New in GrowLog AI: Knowledge Base, Shared Gardens, Weather Alerts & Smarter Advisor
Hey — John here. I just shipped four things you've been asking for: a smarter advisor, a real knowledge base, shared gardens, weather alerts, and a much easier way to get support. Here's the quick tour.
Refined advisor expertise
Your AI garden advisor was already using your local area to shape its feedback. Now it's gotten its PhD in agriculture — it thinks more like an experienced Master Gardener, combining your garden's unique history, local weather, and trusted horticultural expertise to give smarter, more reliable recommendations every time you ask a question.
What that means in practice: ask "should I water the tomatoes today?" and the answer factors in what you logged last week, what the soil's been doing, what the sky looks like for the next 48 hours, and what a seasoned grower in your zone would actually do.
A new knowledge base
Everything about using GrowLog AI now lives in one place — how features work, troubleshooting, and tips. Bookmark it: GrowLog AI Knowledge Base. It's also linked directly in the app.

Multi-user garden access
Share a garden with your partner, kids, or co-gardener. Everyone can log, water, and track together — no more "wait, did you already feed the tomatoes?"
Invite by email, choose a role (Editor or Viewer), and even share the underlying Google spreadsheet so the whole team is reading from the same source of truth.

Weather alerts
Heads-up notifications when frost, heat, or storms are heading for your specific garden location. One less thing to remember.
You'll get them two ways:
In the app — Advisor Notes surface right at the top of your dashboard, scoped to the affected garden:

By email — a clean daily digest only when something actually needs your attention:

Easier support
Stuck on something? Hit the support link in the app or email support@growlogai.com — I read every message personally.
One more thing
I started a Substack where I share daily gardening tips and motivation. If that's your kind of thing, come hang out: johngrowlogai.substack.com.
As always — if something's broken, weird, or just bugging you, tell me. You're the reason this thing keeps getting better.
